Wound Care (Suturing)

No matter if you are an avid adventurer, preparing for a catastrophic event, or economic collapse, being self sufficient in medical treatment for yourself and family are a vital part of surviving. Most medical treatments can be performed yourself if you invest the time into the skills and have the equipment at hand. In this video series you will learn about basic wound cleaning, different types of wound closure devices, and how to suture a wound closed, as well as see first hand one of my children suturing a cut I received while working around the house. In this set of videos we will be focusing on a straight cut, Y cut, and a straight tear, with square knot 3 x 3 sutures.
